Just wanted to share with everyone that today Grace's Law passed the Senate Budget and Appropriation committee unanimously !!! 

Senator Buono and Senator Lance have given strong indication that it will pass the full Assembly and full Senate.  Senator Buono said this is one of the first bills we are passing this legislative session and that it is a priority and "certain that it will pass the entire Senate".  Senator Lance went so far as to say to Grace that she has brought the legislature together and that he believes it will pass unaimously in both houses of the legislature and that next year she should be put in charge of the budget process. :)

The next Senate Session is Thursday 6/12 and the next Assembly Session is Monday 6/16.  Keep your fingers they post it and then it goes on to Governor Corzine!

As always a special thank you to the families who made the trek to Trenton to testify:  D'Alessio, Ringer, Vistoso, and Weatherby. And this time we had our very own celebrity help us seal the deal, Brick Reilly, from this season's NBC's American Gladiator who also gave awesome testimony. The NJ Hearing Health Professional Association, NJ Hospitals Association and NJEA were also there in favor of the bill.

The Record in Northern NJ was there and will be printing a story as well.

If you haven't contacted your legislators, please ask them to vote yes when this goes up for a vote in the houses!
